Currently HeyQL Metrics adds only one additional menu entry to the issue menu in JIRA.

Execute Measurement

Position

It is the last entry in the menu of the "More" button of the issue panel.

Tasks

This entry starts immediately a new measurement of a defined JQL and adds the result as new metric point to the metric.

Result

The result is shown inside pop up. It contains the following information:

• JQL check passed
• Issue measurement passed
• Amount of found issues
• Metric update passed

Requirements

A custom field for the jql definition must be mapped and the filed itself must contain a valid jql inside the related issue.
